On Tuesday morning, I was enjoying drinking my tea. I was never bothered of the noise, until it was drastically happened, the earthquake 7.4 magnitude had destroyed several houses, collapsed some churches in Bohol. There were 200 deaths, and several people were injured. Imagine the long period of impacts could be more damaged. Not only the tower of the oldest Church in Cebu was fell down but also the oldest church in Loon Bohol was stood for hundred of years so it means there would never had a strong earthquake happened in the past till it hit the town. That is how powerful the earthquake was.
I was making breakfast when it happened, and fortunately it was holiday. When the earthquake occurred, my daughter immediately jumped on me. I didn't have time to turn off the gas. We could be dead on fire if it didn't stop. We immediately run off to the hall way.The ground was vibrating, followed with noise or roar. We stood up at the doorway had frightened to death. It lasted for seconds. That was the strongest one I had ever felt in my entire life. I had to check on my Mobile but none of the network was working. The power was shut down and I was so worried. After a few minutes I got a phone call from my husband that the air conditioner fell on top of his desk, and the hospital was on fire. I could not imagine what would happen if there was a tsunami threat. It would probably freak me out!. This is something we can't control but we have to be prepared.
