We had left early last Saturday and headed off to Sogod for the annual Fiesta celebration. It has been a year since I visited Sogod, and it looked as though, I had not been there for a long time because there were a lot of changes.
There are small stores, restaurants, that have been built along each side of the street, the market was improving, the beach was cleaned up, few motorbikes were running, and in front of the basketball court next to Julie’s bakeshop was the small Dunkin Donuts store.

" Not only," had the place changed, but also the people. They were more occupied of their jobs, there were lots of young married couples, and there were lots people working abroad.
Before we headed back to the city, we went shopping in the small market for a little while. That didn’t take too much of our time, because we would have rather looked for clothes, accessories and purses than stayed at home. That was the only time we could shop for clothes, shoes and accessories because after the weekend was over I had to go to work and would be busy.
The store was selling cheap clothes, nice accessories, nice purses and toys. Beside the market was the restaurant that we didn’t like. There was a nice view across the port and behind the store was a group of local natives that were dancing. All of the sudden, it had started to drizzle.
We had to run quickly and jumped into the cab before we got too wet. Later, at 3:00 pm we had to pack our things, overloaded our suitcase in order to fit all Chiki's things then headed back home.
